I have a Teyes CC3 android Head unit installed in my vehicle, I have downloaded and installed Tom Tom auto, all works good except for the TTS (computer voice) Karen (English Australian). I have asked questions and tried to research what could be the problem and I have come to the conclusion that the device is not compatable with Tom Tom TTS engine. Is there a TTS eng I can download that would be compatable with Tom Tom or any other way or am I missing a setting. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

    Tom Tom auto

Is that the GO Navigation app (Android) you are referring to?

    Thanks, Vikram.

"TomTom (TOM2), the location technology specialist, today announced the availability of its popular navigation app - TomTom GO Navigation - on Android Auto™. This means that drivers with an Android™ device are now able to project and interact with TomTom GO Navigation on their (Android Auto-compatible) vehicle’s infotainment screen."

My Head unit is a Teyes CC3 android infotainment unit but you are saying Tom Tom TTS is not compatable with That unit and that I have to project the Tom Tom program through my phone to make it work, which I do not want o do as I don not always have my phone with me, why not just make it compatable to all android units. I like Tom Tom and have had a stand alone one right from the very beginning but it seems you are not keeping up to date and I am afraid that now that I am using the latest technology and Tom Tom is lagging behind I will have to try another platform.

    Thankyou

Do you think Tom Tom should put a NOTE that TTS is not supported if downloaded to the Head unit in the description section on Play store app platform. I feel it is warranted as a subscription fee is required before Tom Tom will boot up after download, I mean when you pay a subscription you expect that all facets of the program to work.

I have solved the problem with Tom Tom TTS. Check to see that the audio output in the Tom Tom settings/sounds and warnings, is set to "System Channel" mine was set on music channel I suspect that this is the default setting.
