Can I "virtually" drive my route

I have recently purchased a TomTom Essential having previously owned a Go 520 many years ago. The 520 gave me the option of entering a destination and then i could "drive" the route virtually without being in the car. This was a good way of acquainting myself with the route. I think the option on the 520 was "Navigate to..." - something like that. Is anyone aware of such a feature on the far more up to date TomTom Essential?

Plan a route and after calculating tap Menu/current route. There scroll to the last entry and select
"Play route"
