No charge in new start

I have tried plugging in new start 52 which arrived today. Not charging at all? Is there a charging light that comes on. It was completely flat when I received it.

    It's just a black screen... completely dead so unable see anything

    Hi @Soph24singleton_

    If you have an Apple or similar phones mains charger plug that will take the USB cable then try charging for 2 hours plus.

    Thanks, I have tried several different plugs but none seem to work! Will persevere for now.

    as said, charge your GPS on a 2-hour mains charger

    Then hold the power button until the device restarts.
