Map disappeared

When I downloaded the latest update my map seems to have disappeared and whilst all my "My Places" are still listed they are greyed out and don't work. What has the update done to cause this, and how do I put it right?
I have held the Off button down for 10 to shut it down and re-boot but that made no difference.

    Just found the problem. For some reason the update made my map of Morocco the default map and as I am in UK it couldn't find me !!!
