I updated and install the maps on my ONE XL but i keep getting error messages "item was not valid after installation"
What to do now? Device keeps telling me to update which I've already done and now it wont work. IT WAS WORKING FINE BEFORE UPDATE.
I bought this model because of the lifetime map update feature. HELP.

The ONE XL does not have lifetime updates, the GPS has been declared end of life by Tomtom, so it is not possible to update or buy a new map.

It clearly states on my box that it comes with lifetime map updates. If TomTom arbitrarily decides to classify my model as
End of life - I can accept that nothing last forever. However, my device was working perfectly (accept the map was old)
before I updated my device on your official website.
IT IS NOT OK FOR TOMTOM TO UPDATE SOFTWARE ONTO MY DEVICE RENDERING IT INOPERABLE AND FOR YOU TO TELL TO GO
BUY A NEW TOMTOM DEVICE. WITH YOUR ATTITUDE - DO YOU THINK I WILL EVER BUY A TOMTOM DEVICE AGAIN?
I need you to restore my device to a operable state BEFORE i updated my device with your malicious software. Failure to do so
will force me to seek other remedies such as reporting your conduct to your Customer Service and also the Better Business Bureau.
