Renault Megane 2011 Problem with map, you cannot use this map on this device.

Hi,

I am sure this has been answered, but i bought a second hand renault megane 2011. Did not come with SD card for the tomtom carminat. I bought one from amazon from a reputed seller. When I put the card into the car, it shows message: Problem with map, you cannot use this map on this device: United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-305.
Can anyone help me please.
I have downloaded the tomtom home and updated the card but still same message.

    Well that's not very helpful is it? Maybe be a little more constructive in your reply if your going to try helping someone. Nevermind I managed to get the same SD working. Thanks but no thanks

    Sometimes cards sold on Amazon or other sites are pirated cards.

    As @DougLap says, come back tomorrow to see if moderator @VikramK can activate a card.

    A map has been activated for your TomTom. Just remove the existing map first and then download fresh version using TomTom HOME.

    Oh please help! I've been having the same exact issue for more than a week, tried everything i've come across online! This is my 3rd car with Carminat and this is the longest issue i've had!

    Welcome to the community, and sorry for my late reply. Map activated for your TomTom, just remove the existing map first and download a fresh version offered under updates in TomTom HOME.
