Im somehow subscribed twice? How can that happen?

Im somehow subscribed twice? How can that happen? I now have 2 renewing bills which have only recently been renewed/setup (although I've used the tom-tom app for years)
Just in case I trief logging in on another device just in case it was related to a 'multiple device sub' which is a really sensible option but no still get the choose s package page when I enter the same email address in the sub section.
It seems the only option available is to cancel the sub but that just seems to stop the renewing part but no mention of any cash refund????
Just can't figure how an email can have more than one subscription against it, but its been made as a 'single device' application so you can only use the email on one device.
Help anyone?

Our support can only check your subscription in case you purchased on our website. In that case your subscription is linked to your TomTom account. If you've purchased from within the app the subscription is linked to your Google account in the Play Store which our support has no insight on.2
