I'm on my third Tom Tom for some time now. The reason for choosing TomTom is the live traffic information. To my frustration the icon that there is no information available is more and more appearing. Would you be so kind as to indicate why the service is so unreliable?

Now that I'm trying to get my question answered I have a new disappointment. Dear TomTom, when I buy a product I expect customer service from the supplier, not the users. So I expect to be able to contact TomTom, preferably in my own language Dutch. In my opinion if a company relies on other customers on forums to do its customer service and is not directly available for its customers the company has no respect for its customers. Service is key to customer satisfaction. Support and customer satisfaction aren’t even tags on the forum are they that low on the priority?

    Thank you all for your reactions. Unfortunately the chat window was not working correctly on my Windows 8.1 computer, nor on my Linux machine or on my Raspberry Pi. The chat window keeps flickering and when it responds to an entry its some kind of program gibberish. So I ended up borrowing a Windows 10 to contact a support side.
    A simple Email address would be so much easier and more customer friendly. I get why TomTom uses some form of AI in the chatbox to filter the questions. Call me old-fashioned if you wish but getting support should not be a maze, it should be the first link on any support site, that is why its called support.
