Can't add voice or update device

My device has 0 bytes available, but I have a lot of space available on the sd card. Support said that the map would be moved to the sd card if I updated it, thus freeing up space on the device so that I could reinstall voices that were deleted when trying to free up space. I currently have no voices on the device.
However, when I try the update, it gets stuck on "waiting for device" before timing out and saying "your device is not responding".
Any ideas of anything else I can try to get at least 1 voice loaded?

Is your GPS correctly connected to the computer and recognized by Mydrive connect try with another cable.

Welcome to the site...
Re... Yor GO 5000 the Maps fitted easily onto the 8GB of on-board Memory....
But the Map sizes increases with every update... Now the 8GB limit on-board Memory size on the NAV4 devices is an unfortunate, but real Catch22 situation....
The latest NAV4 Full Europe Map size is now approaching 9GB....

On Monday @VikramK or @lampard one of the Forum Moderators can allocate a small local Map to the Account to get past the 'Catch22' No Maps Found error....
