Hello, I bought a tomtom go essential in "refurbished edition", what does it mean?
The shop told me it is brand new so i think it's like refurbished from tomtom itself, right?
I wanted it bran new not refurbished.
Thanks.

    Hi
it may be a GPS that the box was opened by a customer the GPS is not suitable for the customer who returned it to the Tomtom store.

No, refurbished edition is printed on the box that is sealed.

    Refurbished device. = Customer feedback

Tomtom has verified the proper functioning of the device returned in the box device sold with the mention reconditioned.
In principle the price is cheaper than new.

No, the price was actually lower. I just wanted to know the meaning of refurbished on a bran new sealed box.

    Hi @Fabifabi

My guess is that it is a unit that has been returned to Tomtom who have refurbished it so it can be sold as a Refurbished unit in new packaging. Once the lower price. One TT unit I had and passed on between the family was bought as a refurbished unit and it is still working some 7 years later
