The software update says its up to date. How do I know whether this is fixed?

delete old pairings on phone and try0

Do you have bluetooth Tethering On when Pairing and subsequently when you are using the phone with the TT Unit.
I have found it a good idea when repairing a TT unit to delete the pairings of the phone and the TT unit then turning them both Off/On before repairing.
