My device wiped everything s now it cannot work it just shows blinking cross on the display screen

Does it sort anything if you ensure it is will charged and you press the On/Off button for 20 seconds plus until you hear the drumroll sound then let button go.

Yes it does switch on and shows no maps found

Tap 18 No maps found
Does that provide a solution.

Sometimes it displays a red blinking dot with a white cross or a big red cross

With the trial version the app had all the cities in South Africa, but after I paid the subscription it only shows my hometowns map

Is it the maps on the Ios or Android application?

Parameter> map> map to download then> add a list of countries to download is available.
