GO Discover Using in another country

Hi, When using a GO Discovery which is set up for UK, how easy is it to be able to use in USA, it has world maps so just wondering do I have to do anything before visiting, such as download specific state maps or will it do I automatically when there. Sorry if this is a basic/silly question, but I am in no way a expert on this sort of thing so any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

    Before you go to the USA download the star maps that will cover you travels there.

    Before you go you can test it by inputting searches and see what routes you will be taken based on your start and finish points and any waypoints you may wish.
