I mainly use my device (VIA 53) as a speedometer. It's more accurate than the one in my car.
My question is, is there a record of where I drive even if it is just around town. I ask just in case I need to prove where I have been during any particular day.

    Hi @neverhappy
    Welcome to the community!
The VIA 53 can record a track, however it cannot store your travel history.

    Thanks

Okay, I put a 256GB SD card in my device. If I choose record route and never stop it, how long will it take to fill my SD card. Will this work?
Also, how do I mark this as the answer?

The Tomtom devices use a Micro SDHC Memory Card formatted FAT32, the Max size recommended by Tomtom 32GB....
Officially, you cannot format a 256GB memory card to FAT 32....

I have read on the forum, there is a max file size when recording a route... But unfortunately I can't recall the max recording time or max file size :/
As far as I recall, if you exceed the max recording time or max file size, the file generates an error and is rendered unreadable ???
