Speed cameras deleted after update

Annoyed and dissapointed that TT have taken it upon themselves to delete my speed camera file off my unit without my permission. Their reasoning is that the file had expired and required updating but that's cobblers. It's a money making exercise. The routes I drive have cameras on them but the cameras have not changed in years. I knew the file had expired and was not going to update it because the cameras don't change!!!

Reprehensible policy change by TT. Please revert and replace and ASK in futurre. Naturally it costs money to restore it. TT exploiting its customers...?

So i now have to buy a monthly subscription to replace a perfectly good functioning if out of date file... like I said its a money grabbing reprehensible move

This file has served me well for the last 3 years. My old 1XL had the same speed camera file for over 10 years and I only ever found 2 new cameras driving all over the UK that I then added - which of course i cant do now with the new far inferior locked down OS system now employed.

Fact remains TT deleted the file WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Microsoft used to do arrogant shit like that until they were legally stopped from doing it.. TT had better watch out or they'll be in court next.

    Mmm... So your free 3 months x 2 trials turned into a ' 13-year ' freebie... How reprehensible !!!

Yes, the fixed Speed camera database is fairly static, but the Mobile locations change day by day even hour by hour at the various locations....
I travel the A49 into Worcester most days, there were 2 fixed cameras plus a Mobile camera van using multiple locations.... recently there has been a change, now some of the route is covered by Average speed zones....
The Tomtom Speed Cam database has keep up-to-date with all the changes....

Maybe useful... There has been a change in the Speed cam subscriptions... The Tomtom subscriptions now 'Auto Renew' by default....

Note... If your subscription has expired you will NOT get any Speed cam warning on the device, even the old database is still installed on the device....
