Australia - How often are Map Up dates Available to Lexus ?

Purchased new Lexus RX350 July 2021 - Map version 47-06-00 2020-4-1 .
Already the map is 18mths old & a new map not due from Lexus until early 2020. ( 2 yrs old.)
This may be a Lexus policy to save paying for earlier updates ?
If Lexus wanted to update every 6 mths are there updates available for Lexus system ? In my opinion the maps should be availble to up date at least every 6 mths - can you help with the question please.

Yes it's a Tom Tom Map - that's why I gave Version details. All I want to know is can Lexus update these in car maps more often if they so choose ?0

Tomtom supplies the cards to Lexus but it is Lexus which redistributes them to its customers.
Lexus decides when to distribute this new card to its customers.0 -
Willy875 - In Car Maps have to be done by service Dept. You are not answering my question. Lexus have advised me that the next update will be sometime early next year -- meaning my Map will be almost 2 yrs old.
My question is how often can Tom Tom supply updated Maps ? If it's only every 18mths -2yrs then I can't argue with Lexus. However IF Tom Tom can supply updates more often why are Lexus ( and others) selling cars with Maps that are already 18mths + old.
Cards have nothing to do with the question - - I just think that an update should be at least every 6 mths at the latest - not 2 yrs!0 -
In my opinion Lexus buys the cards from Tomtom so if Lexus does not request a purchase from Tomtom
