I keep losing traffic connection

I keep losing connection to traffic data. I still have a bluetooth connection as I can still use hands free. To resolve I'm continually re pairing sometimes 3 times a day!!!!
Any advice I'm nearly at the point of factory reset or chuck in bin. I do a lot of miles so nned navigation

    That would have been useful. Apple iPhone 7. My TomTom is a via 53. I’ve had phone tested by EE they can find no issues.

    There's an unresolved problem with the Apple iPhone iOS 13 and above...
    This causes a problem with the Tomtom 'MyDrive App' and the advanced Smartphone features... If you can live without the advanced Smartphone features... i.e (Smartphone Messaging) of the MyDrive App...
    Just use a straight simple Bluetooth Connection....

    Unfortunately the issue is the same, with the messaging etc turned off🤷‍♂️

    Did you follow >> All << the instructions ???
    If you were using the 'MyDrive' App, have you cancelled the Bluetooth connection ???
    Have you set up a Bluetooth Personal Hotspot etc...
