Why is the TomTom Android Auto part outdated in comparison with Amigo?

So I noticed on this forum that the Amigo on Android Auto had the zoom and move function and I did try the app. It looks great and you do even have road numbers showing in the left top corner.
There might be a good reason for it, but I'm just curious why it takes so long to implement these changes on the TomTom app as well?

AmiGO and GO Navigation are different apps. They are based on different navigation software development kits and handled by different teams. Therefore there is no relationship between release cycles of new features.2

Not fully satisfied with your answer but I can understand. Can you give me an update at least if we can expect those new Android Auto features in the near future?
Not only the move & zoom function, but also the road numbers could be a big improvement for the app0
