Would a car with a map from another region reject the installation of a new map from another region?

Hi. I am in Africa. Would there be any problem encountered when installing maps from regions different from the default one in the car? E.g. Taking a car with the European map and putting in a flash disk with an east African map?

Also, why is it that the Africa maps are not available on this page?https://mitsubishi.sda.navshop.com/downloads/

As a user I am concerned by it's absence as I am afraid of purchasing the Africa map from this site only to find that it is not compatible.

Welcome to the community! We don't directly sell the maps for the built-in TomTom through our webshop.
I would recommend contacting the car dealer to check why the map region is not available on their website.

Hi,

The car was imported from Singapore and therefore it would not be possible to contact the car dealer.

Are there any maps available online which we can transfer from a PC to the built in TomTom? Where can we get these maps for Eastern Africa?
