Go Premium x - extent of 'lifetime'

I understand the term 'lifetime' used for the Premium models when considering traffic, map, speed camera updates refers to how long TomTom continue to support this model. Can anyone from TT suggest how long I can expect this 'lifetime' to actually be

    I don't think you will get a response from Tomtom saying other than the suggestion you have outlined. It should be noted though that Tomtom are still offering Map updates for units sold with "Lifetime' updates despite the fact that the models concerned have been declared obsolete largely because they have 2gb or less internal memory and in some cases no extra memory facility.
