MyDriveConnect insists that my device is not connected.

MyDriveConnect insists that my device is not connected. I have plugged and unplugged, restarted the computer, but it makes no difference. What else can I do?
(This is the first time I have tried to update in 2 years)

    Try doing a drum reset on the unit and then connect again to see if it works.

    Also, are you using the cable that came with the device?

    Having the same problem. Using TomTom MyDrive Connect. Software says my device is not responding. Have tried drum reset with no change. Unplugged and replugged 6 times. Very frustrating!

    Have you tried changing the USB socket, changing the cable or reinstalling Mydrive connect?
