Hi there everyone, I recently bought a Go expert 6" for my new job as a coach driver. First of all i have to say that it is an amazing device. I was sceptical at first bc my only experience with tomtom had been on a 10 year old device but i'm very happy with it. Except for one thing.

One of my colleagues gave me his poi files of places our company drives to regularly but i cant seem to find a way to get them to load on my tomtom. Tried uploading them to Mydrive and tried to open the tomtom in windows explorer (after some googling i found out that that is impossible on tomtom devices apparantly).

Is there any way for me to get them on my go expert? I really dont want to have to put all the locations in the main "favourites" tab as that will be really unorganized.

Sorry, not possible because the Ed´xpert does not support ov2 files

I am curious what file type the poi folders it shipped with are. In my (maybe too simple mind) it doesnt seem too much work to add the feature of us adding our own. I will keep my eyes open for updates.

What about converting them to gpx and importing them through mydrive?

It will not allow me to import GPX code on the TomTom MyDrive site.

    Hi @LordRomer

The GO Expert and GO Discover units do not allow the import of personal or 3rd Party POI files. Regarding .gpx file these can be add via My Drive, Click on My Routes in My Drive and scroll down and you will see the option, however these files are Route files and not Points of interest files.

Hi. I've just bought the Go Expert. Without the possibility of importing POI file it is practically useless and will have to return.
Does TOM TOM expect to change this in any way?
Is there any unit for truck drivers that supports importing POI files?
