Getting ready to head out and charged my Spark via computer from 8 o'clock position to 11:55, i.e., virtually fully charged, if the yellow dot is to be believed. But when I started the watch for a run, it gave a charge warning buzzer/screen and the watch shows little charged up top. First time I've seen this. What might be going on?

If it charges when plugged in but dies as soon as it is unplugged it is a depleted battery (when plugged in it is not using the battery and the battery is not actually taking a charge, but as soon as you unplug it, it switched to the dead battery). You can replace the battery yourself, TT does not do it, you will need to Google instructions, get special tools, figure out what battery you need, purchase it, install it, etc. Frankly, you would probably be better off just getting a new watch; there are plenty of brands out there with better feature sets for less money these days (TT Sports went out of business almost 4 years ago).0

Thanks. I'd rather keep the watch. I'm not finding anything in the U.S. manual about how to replace the battery in the Spark, so I guess TT considers it not replaceable. However, I did find the following from people who have done it. Just have to figure out which battery to buy:

As I said, TT does not do it or provide instructions. You do it at your own risk and will void the warranty, but it is probably expired anyway. I have seen mixed reviews from people doing it themselves with the battery not being right (you won't know what battery you need until you open it as they used a lot of types), not being able to wire it back in, the waterproof seal no longer working after, etc.. Good luck with it.0
