Traffic not working on new Citroen Relay van

When I plan a route I get an error after a few seconds that says "Traffic Information Currently Unavailable"

I have paired my phone and enabled Bluetooth Tethering to share the internet connection. The phone asked for various permissions and I granted them all, listed now are Call Audio, Media Audio, Contact Sharing and Message Access but nothing to do with internet access so I suspect that may be the issue.

Any ideas would be appreciated...

    This is what built-in GPS you have on your vehicle

    on the internet I don't see TomTom but Android, Apple Carplay,

    This Citroen head unit doesn't have Android Auto or Apple Car Play. In fact I can't even see any options about internet connection but it must have because it has the Traffic option. Very confused....
