Waiting for Device

in MyDrive Connect
I am trying to update my Tom Tom GO 50 through My Drive. Although my Tom Tom says it is connected to the computer and My Drive says it is connected on the first page, I keep getting the message "Waiting for Device". I notice that this was discussed in March 20. Can anybody help please.

    open my drive connect to CONTINUOUS GPS Connected and check that there is enough space for the card because the cards are getting bigger and bigger

    and check that it is not corrupted
