French requirements no average speed facilities on my Start 60

Do I have to do anything to avoid the French Problem of no average speed facilities on my Start 60 having just downloaded the new maps?

    Hi @J2RMS

    When you subscribe to Speed Cameras the data supplied to you in France is not specific Speed Cameras related. The data that Tomtom supply you when in France is known as Danger Zones. When a Danger Zone position is indicated to you then there may or may not be cameras and if there are any it may be sometime after you are notified of the start of the Danger Zone before you see a camera. This information is supplied to conform with the French regulations.

    If that is the problem how do I stop it for France please?

    it is useless to stop it for France

    you will be warned of 300m in town 2000m on country road and 4000m before on motorway
