Would TomTom like to comment on the Apple warning of using GPS in hot conditions?

Came accross this support note from apple
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201678
It warns of damage to iPhone battery when used in hot conditions.
Using certain features in hot conditions or direct sunlight for an extended period of time, such as GPS tracking or navigation in a car, playing a graphics-intensive game, or using augmented-reality apps.
I've had my iPhone Se 2020 shut down a few times on hot days when using TomTom for navigation which makes me wonder if The Nav app should keep an eye on the phone temperature and change to a minimal display update to manage the heat?

Great point, when using TT on my iPhone SE screen it gets really warm (been mentioned a number of times on these threads for several months). Weirdly using CarPlay the phone doesn’t heat up that much.1
