GO 5100 device not powered up when connected to computer

When I connect my go device to my computer it automatically switches on. If I turn it off then open mydrive connect the go device does not switch on therefore I cannot updates my maps

I guess it by design ???
MyDrive Connect "Auto-start with my Computer" Set to OFF.....
Win 10 (MyDrive Connect is not running)
Plug in GO 5000, the device auto starts.....
Turn-off the GO 5000... Click on and Run MDC... The GO 5000 does NOT Auto-start
Fix... Press the power button or Disconnect and Reconnect the GO 5000 USB lead
The device restarts OK....

I have not found the equivalence of 4FL50
maybe in the battery settings in system

model:4FL50 is on the tom tom device. The only other information is QR4186K039850

Sorry when I click on the "about" screen Tom Tom GO 5100 is given the QR number quoted above is also listed as the serial number0

The only battery settings are whether to go into sleep mode when power is disconnected. I have tried both on and off but still the same result-no power on when I go into mydrive connect0

you tried to change usb because when you connect it to the computer it works0 -
