what does 'awaiting invoice' mean?

hi guys

i have decided to send off my tomtom to get repaired, it arrived there this morning, when i went to tomtom website to check on the repair status, it says awaiting invoice'. could anyone explain what that means please?

    hi he just asks you to send them the product invoice

    so you will be billed, they will ask you to pay for the repair first

    i have got email from one of their staff saying they will sort the repair billing out and he even said i wont have to pay anything.

    you are therefore under warranty, but to prove it they need the invoice

    at least that's what I think

    the person i spoke to said that they have checked my serial number and it is under warranty.

    i will wait for an email and see what happens after. i have email to prove that they said i wont have to pay anything.

    will update when i receive an email.

    i hope they will repair then i get an email saying that they are returning the tomtom.

    i really dont want to complain.

    hi guys


    got an email saying i have to pay because its not under warranty. i have been told several times it is under warranty so got in chat to complain. after i told them that one of the staff told me they have sorted the repair for me, they waived the repair bill and changed my status to 'Your request is being handled'.

    so they are repairing the tomtom for me now without any payment.

    got another email saying they have repaired it and have sent it off back to me.

    if they cant fix it, will they just replace it?
