TomTom Go on Android Auto crashes

I use both TomTom Go beta and AmiGo on Android Auto on a Google Pixel 5 in both my Wife's 2021 VW Tiguan and my 2016 VW Jetta.

Of those combinations, only TomTom Go crashes. Was usually only when displaying the map without any directions. But in the latest version, 3.2.12-beta (4140), it also crashes (and auto-restarts while showing directions too.

AmiGo never crashes in either car.
And of course, Google Maps works perfectly in both.

Is this the first you have heard of this?

    Try the release version.
They are on same level now

I already tried both Beta and Release versions.

It's actually crashed on the Tiguan for a few months now.

Not getting better with new versions. Getting worse.

Shame really. I like it enough to pay $2 pet month to use it, but can only use it in the Jetta.

    Thanks

This also happened on the Pixel 3 I had before July.

I even turned OFF the Battery optimization (Android OS v11), but that made no difference.

I have the same issue here. I use the release version 3.2.12 (4140). Since the update to this version TT GO crashes during navigation. It does not restart automatically.
I use a Oneplus 9 pro and I use TT Go in my Renault Scenic and on my Honda Africa Twin. On both vehicles I have the same problem. Other navigation apps seem to work.
The only way to restart TT is to disconnect the phone from the vehicle.
    Thx for looking into this!

@MarquisFreeman, the only crashes that we see for your AppID should have been fixed in 3.2.12 build. Last crash for your ID happened with 3.2.5 build, there are no crashes reported for 3.2.12 and your ID.

    Thanks for the update.

I haven't driven my Wife's Tiguan this week.
But the next time I do, I will notify you with the results.

I can now verify this is still happening.

2021 VW Tiguan inside Android Auto.
    TomTom Go app version v3.2.25

Still just goes back to TomTom Loading... screen all on it's on.
    Only took a few minutes.

Today, Sat 8/28/2021 about 13:25 Eastern time.

And inside Android Auto on my 2016 VW Jetta, it never does that.

    Thanks

OK, so the app isn't crashing, it will just close and reopen itself on AA head unit. We are aware about this issue, it is being tracked internally under GONAV-3598.

Just wanted to confirm that I've been using v3.2.34-beta (4162) with my Wife's 2021 VW Tiguan on Android Auto for over a week now, and it hasn't Closed and Re-opened.

    Very stable now.
