TomTom Sports App crashing in Apple device

Hi, since the orginal TomTom Golfer app is discontinued I (try) to use the TomTom Sports App.
But that one crashes all the time, sometimes just after the start, sometime during synchronisation, sometime random.

Has anyone out there a cure for that behaviour? I am using an iPhone 11 and an iPad Air-4 both with latest iOS installed.
