Just bought a new go 6250 professional so when it arrives and I set it up will all my saved places be transferred across etc or will I lose them all

    Yes l my places yes except recent destinations

    for recent destinations put them in favorites

    Yes if you use the same My Drive account as the old unit. Should you intend to continue using the old one on the same account then be aware that if you are on a journey with one of them and someone enters a new destination etc on the other one then the unit you are using will also change destination even in mid journey. You can prevent this happening if you log out of My Drive on both units , which will not affect their operation, and only log in when you need the account connection.

    If you are passing the old unit on and not continuing the association with the My Drive Account then once you have sorted the new unit out go to Settings/System and select Reset the Device and this deletes all your data , including My Places etc form the device.
