tomtom premium wont load up

hi guys

hope everyone is ok.

had this problem few days now after updating it.

firstly it was stuck on recovery mode so i did the recovery procedure. on mydrive it got up to 100% then restarted and went back to the recovery mode( pc with tomtom image) been doing that for several hours so gave up. next day i switched it on (just hoping it fixed itself somehow) and now its just white screen, nothing else.

got in touch with tomtom headquarters and they told me it is still under warranty from my serial number, they told me they would take care of the repair bills and that i wouldnt have to pay a thing, problem is i would ahve to wait over 2 weeks to get it back. i use my tomtom everyday and i cant afford another one.

i was wondering if there is a backup or the operating system which i can download to get this my tomtom up and running again.

    ok they just asked me for proof of purchase but i dont have one so they said i would have to pay the repair bill.

    take a screenshot of the map clearly visible

    it will not connect to pc at all.

    it seems like the tomtom is useless now.

    yes but without paying they must see that it is brand new

    it is not new, i have had it for a year now. but when theychecked my serial number, they told me it is still under warranty but they still want the receipt which i dont have.
