Voice cuts short when giving directions

Hi,I've recently downloaded the Tom Tom Go app onto my Google pixel 5. I'm using the app through a Bluetooth headset (motorcycle) and the Serena voice is being cut short while giving directions. Any ideas?? Many thanks.

I solved this with an increase in the speech rate on the phone (probably: settings/language/text to speech). This makes the voice talk faster.6

PS changing the voice and using the notification channel might also make a difference according to comments in another post.2
