customer service is one of the worst there is, does not help if they have good products when it is impossible to contact them when you need help0

I think you have to contact Customer Support and you will need a a police number to show that it is a confirmed stolen device.
There are no phone lines working because so many are working from home because of Covid.
Try the following:-
Tap Support at the top of this page
You then HAVE to Sign in Top Right of next Page. (you have to do this)
When signed in Tap Contact Us bottom right
Help Box appears and after a few seconds Get in Touch also appears
Tap Get in Touch
You are now offered Chat.. If Chat is closed, ie its not normal working hours Mon/Fri, it will tell you the hours that it will be available and an email option should appear. You need Chat for this issue..
Chat is busy you may have to try a few times.
If it does not work exactly as described then try another Web Browser.

why oh why do tom-tom not pay attention to their customers who wishes and create a telephone helpline. Some people are not tech savvy and going online presents its own difficulties re-communication and response. Wouldn't it be nice just to speak to a human being?!0

I had myTom-Tom Go 5200 stolen from my car. Does anybody know whether Tom Tom can locate the exact location of a person's satnav. According to my drive my Tom-Tom Satnav is in Romania!0
