Go Mobile1.18.1 - maps download does not work

Is the GoMobile Version 1.18.1 no longer supported for map updates or downloads at all? I am using this older version on my car build-in device (Android 4) and cannot download any maps.
Tried a reinstallation already but no luck

    Go Mobile version 1.18.1 is no longer supported now it is the new GO Navigation app version 3.2.5

    OK. I understand the version is no longer supported but it still works with the akteady installed maps (or did Work) and tells me there is an Update available which cant be Downloader.

    The GO app has not been designed or tested for use with Android headunits so it works where it doesn't.
