    The ZFE feature, for "low emission zones", is coming to Google Maps. It allows owners of thermal or hybrid vehicles to know which roads are passable and which are not.

    The service, which was announced last March, helps tackle pollution in cities. Currently, urban areas are prohibited for certain types of cars in order to favor the most ecological vehicles, specifies the specialized media. The tool therefore becomes useful for drivers, so that they know how far to drive in the first case, or in which areas it is necessary to switch to electric mode, in the second case.
