cannot use this map error tomtom xxl device

Hello,

I've connected old TomTom XXL device via TomTom Home app and updated the software, after that - it is unable to load the maps. is now telling me there is a problem with the map and that i cant use these maps on this device: Europe_South-101141. Can you help with that?

Is it possible to get more recent versions of these maps which are pretty outdated?

Welcome to the community!
It's not possible to activate a recent version, but I added a slightly upgraded version.
Just remove the existing map first and download a fresh version offered as a download in TomTom HOME.

I've deleted it, but when i plug in the GPS, it won't let me download

I needed to press "Actualizar o meu xxl'. I've the map now! thank you!! @VikramK
