If you lose internet connection as in a lot of places in UK there is no mobile signal, will the app stop working or not?
Do you only need internet to start the app (like you need for the paid tomtom go) or must you have ongoing internet connection.

I am not aware of how AmiGo really works in relation to the internet connection but I too in my campaign in France I do not always have a connection but I have no problem with the display of maps and navigation.
On the other hand, without the internet, it's impossible to make a report and look for a destination.0
