MyDrive Connect new items available

The Taskbar icon for MyDrive reports there are new items available. But with the Go Discover plugged into the PC using the supplied lead, there are no updates to apply.
So I'm rather confused.

With Go Discover, updates are launched from the GPS menu and you do not need the Mydrive connect software to make updates on Go discover.0

Since posting on this topic I have checked and New map and Map updates on the Discovery units can only be done via Wifi connection. If you connect your unit to a PC with My Drive Connect running on it then although Map Updates may be listed they will not download. I don’t know if this is a permanent situation or one that will change.

Thats why. Not sure if you just connect it to the USB socket on the PC without My Drive Connect running whether it would have worked then as it was only connected for power.

My device is not showing any updates available when only connected via wifi.
But the MyDrive Connect icon still shows items available.
I also did the software update yesterday where it asks for power. It updated but made no difference to the 'icon' suggesting there are updated items waiting.0 -
Sorry for the delay in responding. The answer is No ... only have one device.
Regretabbly, because I couldn't get access to the forum [Access denied, You Are Banned], I had to gain access using an alternative email address ... and that is one I do not monitor most of the time. Very frustrating not being able to use my primary email account.0 -

Hi @VikramK and thanks for sorting out my primary email. That worked a treat. I have now removed the device from my 'other' email account in MyDrive Connect but have been unable to add the device to the correct email?
The general instruction is to click on the My Devices tab in MyDriveConnect but alas I do not have such a tab. I just get the Add a Device, and when I do connect it using the lead that came with the device, plus not using the device cradle, I switch on and nothing happens!0 -
Quick update. Found the solution to my problem, the Go Discover kept reverting back to the incorrect email address. So a factory reset sorted it and now all is good.
