How to fix an add device bug?
After a recent update to fix lack of activation of tomtom traffic, my tomtom rider 500 has disappeared from my device list on my account. Tomtom connect tells me to login with the device to my account which i have done (I am using the same account). However when i hit connect it just takes me back to this step and won't recognize the device. Logging in on line just tells me to use tomtom connect but suggested a reinstall to fix issues which i did to no avail. I also logged out of the the device and logged in again to see if this fixed the problem (a real pain as my password is very difficult to enter on the device as it is a strong one from a password manager). It didn't. I can feel a factory reset of the device coming on but am reluctant as it will require me to enter my wifi and account passwords again and reset up my blue tooth devices. I am also worried that i will lose access to traffic again!
