The French voice "Thomas" does not speak — TomTom Community

The French voice "Thomas" does not speak

My new GO 5200, with french parameters, is working fine except for the synthetic French voice (Thomas).
Quick reset and factory reinitilizing my GPS didn't restore voice.
Could you tell me how to hear this voice ?

    Welcome to the community! Computer voice- 'Thomas' has been activated for your TomTom. It should be offered as a download under updates.

    Hi,
    First, I wish to thank all the persons that try to help me.
    But, unfortunaly, even with the help of TomTom support team, "Thomas" didn't speak...
    I choose to return the faulty 5200 GPS and to buy a premium one.
    Hoping that it will work without fault.

    Check that the voice icon is not crossed out

    Thanks for your help, but this tip did'nt changed anything to my problem.
    As I wrote yesterday : I have returned my GPS for refunds an plan to buy another model.
