V8. 80.0: New calendar option, contact does not work

Hi all,
I am a beta tester and have just upgraded to version 8.80.0.
The option to access our calendar and contacts (very good idea) does not work, I cannot validate the 2 options, they remain grayed out.
My phone is a xiaomi redmi note 9 pro.

    I have the same problem.. Toggles remain greyed out.

    If it helps, amigo does not ask for any permissions to access contacts and calendar and these requests also do not appear in the phone settings in the permission requests.
