How to export automatically recorded routes?

I have configured the system settings on my GO Supreme to automatically record my drives to routes. After the device shuts off, they get saved and later become available in the history list on the My Routes page. The problem is that I can’t find a way to export them. I’m supposed to see an option to save the route when I click on it, but it just loads so that I can start navigating it. I’m logged into my account on the device and otherwise it appears to my syncing to my iOS app. How can I add this route to my route list under my account?

Hi
@Krakus
Welcome to the site....
You can use a Micro SD Card as a transfer medium....
To 'Import' or 'Export' Routes using your NAV4/5 device....
Format your memory card on your PC to FAT32 format
Copy your .GPX or .ITN route file to your Memory Card
My GO 5000 showing no routes installed.....
Insert the SD Memory card into the Card Slot, the device will recognize the Memory Card.....
Routes Transferred.....

Thank you very much for your detailed instructions.
I must say, though, what a horribly clunky way for TomTom to do this!
Wouldn't it be so much simpler to just tap the route, click to save, then have it automatically added to the routes list of my TomTom account? In fact, that's how the manual claims that it works. And it's one of the key selling points of the Supreme.0
