Smart Media Connect doesn't add my device to my account

Hello,

I recently bought a 2nd hand Smart Forfour Proxy (2017) with a built-in navigation system.
Because the maps are out-dated, I want to update them.
So I downloaded Smart Media Connect and followded the instuction on the screen. But when it wants to add the SD-card to my account, it keeps"adding" for hours without anything happening.

I already asked the MB-dealer for a solution, but they didn't know what to do. I hope anyone can help me with this issue.
