VIA1525TM not displaying traffic, not updating Canada/US map

I have a VIA1525TM purchased from a Canadian retail store that up to a few months ago was displaying traffic and getting map updates. After an update it doesn't do that. It does recognize the traffic module when powering up and have tried to resolve this by resetting to factory defaults but have the same issue
SN XQxxxxxxxx994 (displays as Start 52 in MyDrive Connect). It is not an end of useful life product because the VIA1525TM is still sold on the Canadian TomTom site. I understand from other posts that TomTom support can reset to model setting back to VIA 1525TM and on the next update the traffic and map updates would be restored so if support could that please.
