I bought this VIA1505M back in January, it came with Lifetime Maps code which I can't get as everytime I connect I get the message "Something has gone wrong". I try to manually set my clock, but I can't even do that. I already have an account set up as I had 2 previous GPS installed. My unit is Model: 4EN52 Z1230 version 4ENN5.001.02. United States

Hi @600miles
Could you try a few troubleshooting steps as below-
1. Disconnect the device from the computer.
2. Perform a factory reset.
3. Now connect the device to the computer and open MyDrive Connect.
Do still see the same error when you connect the device?

I was able to reset the clock manually by hard press hold power button until user agreement appeared, then reset clock.
If I do Factory Reset will it wipe my last 6 months of saving favorites and cities I frequently travel?0 -

Hi Again...
Hi
@600miles
On the NAV3 devices you can't access the operating or filing system like on a PC like you can on a NAV2 device....
Here's a Workaround I use to "Backup" My NAV3 devices....
A while ago I looked at the Tomtom Transfer Assistant and discovered that the Transfer Assistant creates hidden a folder called TTDMT.
See Method... https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussion/comment/1229082/#Comment_1229082
If you copy & paste the TTDMT folder contents somewhere convenient, and you have effectively backed up the unit....
The backup does not include Tomtom Maps or Speed cams it’s only what you can see with Add Community Content....
You don't need to back up the Maps a Speed Cams they are stored on your account at the Tomtom Cloud server and accessed through MyDrive....

I literally cannot connect or add my device. Everytime I try I get this message, see pic. I did 1 time get up to the update where it showed 10 updates avail. Not enough room on the device for 3448mb of maps.
