Traffic not working go premium

I have received my new go premium Wi-fi and the traffic isn’t working. It states it has been activated but won’t connect. I have followed the instructions and watched the video.

    I have the same problem and desperately looking for an answer. I followed all suggestions to get it working again. GPRS used to work, but not anymore. Services work fine when WIFI is in range. Serialnumber starts withZRS.

    Dear YamFazMan, thanks for your quick reply. My TomTom premium does not provide the bluetooth menu. The only option I have is the option to add a Phone. That's it! Also WIFI I can not shut it down. I can only make the TomTom "forget" the connected network.
    Is there a way I can check if the simcard for GPRS is the problem, if it is actually working?
    I appreciate your attention. Thanks

    Hi
    @hdekkers
    I assume you haven't connected the GO Premium to a iPhone or a different Smartphone over Bluetooth ???
    You only get the other options like 'Data for Traffic & other services' with a Smartphone connected....
    If you haven't connected a Smartphone It can't be the cause of your problem....

    'Yes'... You can only forget the Wi-Fi (You can't turn off the Wi-Fi)

    I find this useful to see if the SIM is active...
    The RF shielding on my PC sound system is not very good, If I place a Tomtom GPRS SIM Live device near the Amplifier/Speaker I can hear the Tomtom SIM Data exchange and the Card logging in/out

    Also, If you have a small portable AM Radio set to around 800kHz you can hear the SIM card Data exchange and the Card logging in/out

    Note... You will need to close the 3 Data connection options that can have a higher/priority/override the Built-in GPRS SIM....

    Hi YamFazMan, Thanks for the information.
    I have disabled WIFI and installed tt my drive on my phone, and connected my Phone (Nokia 2.2). I noticed that the menu option to allow other traffice default is No.
    So, now i have no connection to USB, WIFI and bluetooth. Next I restarted the TomTom.

    The tomtom Info shows me that there is no data connection and , unfortunately, no connection over GPRS.
    I will try to listen if I can hear the SIM.

    If you have more suggestions, please be so kind to let me know. Is it e.g. possible just to swap the SIM card?

    Thanks once more

    Hi
    @hdekkers
    You can't swap the SIM Card, the SIM Card is locked to the serial number of the Tomtom device....

    Hi YamFazMan, thanks for the tip. Reading this looks like a good possibilty as being the problem. I will definitely try this as a last resort. May be TomTom will help with the SIM in time, else I will try this tip. I will keep you informed.

    Hi YamFazMan, sorry to say it didn't work. I am really dependant of the tomtom technicians. God knows how long this will take.
