Hi

Recently purchased a new 6250 satnav directly from Tom Tom. Since setting up the device I have never been able to use live traffic or service information. All features are activate on settings menu, however GPRS is constantly disconnected. I have tried soft, hard and factory resets with no success. Im thinking about returning the product since it doesnt do what it says it should on the box!

If anyone could assist me or have any ideas that would be great.

Thanks
Harley

    Would like to also add:

Live traffic doesnt even work when connected to wifi at home...

I have also viewed numerous videos from Tom Tom to help with the problem but none of them have helped me.

    Hi
    @Harleyrf
With the GO 6250 >> NOT<< Connected to Wi-Fi or USB...
    Check... Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) → Setting → System → About…
Scroll down to Data Connection & GPRS Status....
    What does the device report...???
Is the GPRS Status... Connected ???
Are the following menu items displaying any Numbers ???
    MCC/MNC
    IMEI
    SIM ID
    GPRS Model

(Do NOT post the numbers here on the site)
