How to set Destination

My wife has to drive along distance on her own soon and she wants to use the Tom Tom but as we have hardly used it I am not sure how I enter the destination I wondered if anyone on here could tell me the procedure to enter the destination post code.The Tom Tom is a Via 135.Thanksi
